Repentance

Repentance

It is never too late to start over. Change is possible thanks to Jesus Christ.

A new beginning

We all make mistakes. We all have moments we are not proud of. But the gospel of Jesus Christ teaches us something wonderful: we can always start again.

Repentance is not a punishment — it is a gift. It is the opportunity God gives us to leave behind what weighs us down and move forward with hope and peace.

A new dawn

What is repentance?

To repent means to change — to change your heart, your direction, your attitude. It is not just about feeling guilty, but about deciding to improve and turning to Jesus Christ for His help.

The role of Jesus Christ

Repentance is possible thanks to the Atonement of Jesus Christ. He has already paid the price for our mistakes. When we repent sincerely, He forgives us completely — He holds no grudge, keeps no record, and does not remind us of what is already behind us.

As the scripture says: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.

Freedom and hope

It is not weakness, it is courage

Repenting takes humility and courage. It is not a sign of weakness — it is one of the bravest things you can do. Every day is a new opportunity to come closer to the person God knows you can become.
